With the Find a Future program, Walmart builds upon its long commitment to fostering a military friendly community that helps veterans and their spouses improve both economic and overall well-being . The Veterans Welcome Home Commitment launched on Memorial Day 2013, guaranteeing a job offer to any eligible, honorably discharged U.S. veteran. Our original goal was 250,000 hires – and we are proud to announce that as of 2020, we achieved that benchmark. To date, more than 520,000 veterans and military spouses have joined us in advancing their careers.
