About
Located adjacent to Bellinis in Cubao X, Freds Revolucion is a popular neighborhood bar that evokes nostalgia for Cuban communism. It proudly identifies itself as a haven for genuine drinkers and pays homage to Lolo Fred, who was born in 1905. Despite being a relatively young establishment, having been founded in 2011, this venue instantly transports patrons to another era when they step inside. As night falls, Quezon City truly comes alive with its vibrant and energetic nightlife scene.
Why you should go
- Experience a unique Cuban/Communism nostalgia theme at Fred's Revolucion
- Enjoy a wide selection of local and craft beers as well as co*cktails
- Try delicious dishes like tapang baboy ramo and lamb with mash at reasonable prices

Easily one of the best places to drink and chill at.I've been drinking at Freds for over 7 years now, granted most of it was in the escolta branch, and never had any issues or problems with anything. The place is nice and cool, open air ftw. It's well lit and clean. They serve cold drinks and good food. There really isn't anything to complain about. You just gotta go there and experience it yourself.
Excellent atmosphere for group of friends hanging out over local or craft beers. Varied selection of beers and co*cktails. Barchow is good. Service is sparse since the establishment is split across the other side of the service road. Restroom is the "Pay" kind. Parking is "hit-or-miss". Overall a great experience.
Great ambiance! A bit of space could be filled to add more seats. Parking slots available inside the expo. Pay parking entrance is nearby but exit is one building away.Still gotta try other places inside the Expo but Fred's is a great starter!

- Expect sparse service due to the layout of the establishment split across different areas; plan accordingly
- Check if ice is available before ordering drinks late in the evening as supplies may run low

Reviewers highlight the opportunity to chill out with friends or enjoy a solo drink while experiencing a Thailand/Vietnam vibe. The bar offers delicious dishes like tapang baboy ramo and lamb with mash at affordable prices. Some minor issues mentioned include sparse service due to the establishment's layout, limited seating space that could be expanded, and occasional parking challenges.

Home of the pinatubo craft beer.... i recommend brainstorm. Cozy place. Nice to chillax after work. They have parking...
A Cubao "X" mainstay, Fred's bar and restaurant takes up an entire corner of Cubao Expo. We ordered Chili con carne with toasted bread, and a few rounds of Boondock's Summer and Strong Ales. All of which made for delicious and merry conversation. If you're early grab seats on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and shops below. A great place to eat, drink, and be merry at Cubao X.
